Things to do around Willow Bay, Cornwall
On your visit to Willow Bay Country Park there is no shortage of things to do.

Beaches at Bude
Bude is the ultimate base for adventurers and beach lovers. Do you dream of safe, child friendly beaches with great facilities and oodles to do? Or maybe you’ve a hankering for seclusion – picture-perfect coves brimming with a wild charm that’ll take your breath away? That’s the beauty of Bude: top facilities and activities on tap, paired with wonderful “secret” Cornish coves.
Our advice? Pack a picnic, and dive into this bevy of beautiful beaches.
Bude’s dramatic coastline is home to Demerara-soft sand, glittering seascapes and lovely low-key beach huts. You’ll find beaches with Blue Flag and Seaside Awards, and all of the life guarded beaches have been rated under EU Regulations for bathing water quality.

Padstow Harbour
Take boat trip!
There boats of all shapes and sizes taking trippers up and down the coast from Padstow harbour. Activities range from wildlife spotting to angling or just messing about on the water.
Most popular are the wildlife trips with seals, dolphins, puffins and basking sharks regularly sighted depending on the time of year.
One of the greatest attractions of Padstow is its harbour and all roads lead here. Pleasure craft rub shoulders with working fishing boats and both boat trips and the Rock ferry carry passengers and day trippers out of Padstow.
After a great why not treat yourself to something to eat at Rick Steins!

Bostcastle, Port Issacc
Maybe a familiar setting, as the location for the TV series Doc Martin;
The landscape, coastline and quaint old buildings are undoubtedly the main attraction of the local area. There are many churches and museums, The Boscastle Museum of Witchcraft, Davidstow Moor RAF Museum and Cornwall at War Museum.
In Tintagel you will find King Arthur’s castle and The Old Post Office.
Outdoor activities include surfing, coasteering, kayaking, fishing, pony trekking, cycling, tennis and walking.

Eden Project
Eden Project used to be a barren landscape – a former clay mine with no soil or plants. It has since been transformed from a huge crater into a beautiful global garden, which sets the stage for an extraordinary day out where you’ll rediscover the natural world as you’ve never experienced it before.
Explore massive covered Biomes to trek though the world’s largest indoor rainforest and immerse yourself in the calm fragrance of the Mediterranean Biome. Enjoy extensive Outdoor Gardens, contemporary artworks, performance and storytelling. Discover places to rest, play and eat, and pick up inspiring ideas to take home on how to care for the planet that cares for you.
