New to holiday home ownership?

New to holiday home ownership?

Follow our guide to buying a holiday home to take you through four simple steps.

Welcome to our guide to buying a holiday home with Encore Parcs.

Owning a luxury holiday home with Encore Parcs is an easy and affordable way to escape at a moment’s notice. If you’re new to holiday home ownership and are unsure of where to start, our Buyers Guide aims to take you through the process in just a few simple steps.

Our guide covers how to choose your park, your holiday home, and the costs involved, but if you have any further questions you can check out our helpful FAQs or contact us for more information: we’ll be happy to help.

1

Choosing your location

Whether you prefer a quiet retreat or a little more of a buzz, Encore Parcs have the ideal holiday home for you.

Our different parks and locations offer a variety of choice, from stunning coastlands to rural retreats. We have parks in Northern Ireland, Devon, Cornwall, Berkshire, Suffolk, and Gloucestershire, all with their own stunning setting and a wealth of things to do in the surrounding areas.

2

Calculate the
costs

At Encore Parcs we have holiday homes to suit every taste and budget. Owning a holiday home involves three main costs to consider:

Cost of
holiday home

The holiday home price you see on the website covers the cost of the holiday home itself and essential add-ons such as siting, connection and safety & security essentials. The price does not include site fees and running costs (we talk more about this below).

We can advise you on the best holiday home for you, and even help with finance options.

Annual
site fees

Site fees vary by park and pitch location, but as a rough guide our annual site fees range from £1,800 – £5,000.

The price you pay includes the cost of keeping your holiday home at the park for the whole year, and covers maintenance and security, grass cutting, landscaping and general park upkeep, plus use of all park facilities.

Annual running
costs

Annual running costs include rates, water, gas, electricity and insurance. These change from year to year, but our helpful team can give you estimates when you chat to them about buying your holiday home.

3

Choose a holiday home

We have holiday homes to suit all buyers, requirements, and budgets. Our holiday homes range from static caravans and static homes, through to luxury holiday lodges.

When it comes to buying your holiday home, you can choose from one of our holiday homes for sale already situated on site, or take the opportunity to design your dream holiday home from scratch. All of our holiday homes for sale demonstrate the height of luxurious living.

4

Arrange a
visit

You are welcome to book a free park visit at a park of your choice, to get a feel for what it would be like to be an owner of a holiday home at Encore Parcs.

This is a great chance to meet our team and ask all your questions about buying a holiday home. There’s no obligation to buy anything at all, but it is a fantastic opportunity to sample park life and see what it’s like to own a home away from home.

FAQs

If you’re considering buying a holiday home, the best place to start is with a no-obligation chat with our friendly team. Get in touch today and we can help start your journey to owning your own holiday home.

How often can I use my holiday home?

You can visit as often as you like during the ownership season – weekends, weeks, or longer periods. We will give you the opening and closing dates for the park you are interested in. All our parks benefit from a 12 month holiday season, so you can use your holiday home as much as you wish.

Can I choose where I have my holiday home on the Park?

Yes, you will be given a guided tour of the park and shown the pitches and locations that are available to you.

Are friends and family allowed to use my holiday home?

Absolutely, it is your holiday home, and you can let family and friends use it, visit, and stay with you whenever you please.

Are there any additional charges after I have purchased my holiday home?

Charges include utility bills, water, rates, local authority rates and insurance, plus you pay an annual pitch fee; this contributes towards the running costs of your park.

We can offer a payment plan to spread the running costs each year. (subject to status)

What choice of holiday homes are available?

We carry an extensive stock of new and used holiday homes across our parks. We work with all the major manufacturers, so will have a broad selection of makes and models for you to choose from.

Please view our individual holiday park pages for more information.

Do I have to pay a deposit to secure my holiday home?

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your holiday home and chosen pitch – deposits are from as little as 10%.

We would then look to complete your purchase with us, and have you enjoying your holiday home within 14 days.
